Descriptions, Reviews, &c.

On Decoy Sound, Norwegian experimentalist Sindre Bjerga presents two live performances that exemplify his idiosyncratic approach to sound-blending cassette-loop manipulations, decaying electronics, whispered vocal textures, and field recordings into drifting lo-fi abstractions. Recorded in Kristiansand, Norway, and Vienna, Austria, these pieces embrace fragility and disorientation, unfolding like dream fragments warped by time and tape. Bjerga's signature "kitchen sink psychedelia" is on full display, creating a sonic space both intimate and uncanny, where nostalgia dissolves into noise and ambient textures hover on the edge of collapse.
